Because it’s the calm your night deserves,
but not the one you expected right now.
And so it works in silence.
Because your mind can rest.
Because it’s not a medicine.
It’s a silent guardian,
a restorative protector...

The best protection is the kind you forget is there. An in-ear insert with a speaker inside, shaped to rest in the ear without asking for your attention. Ear tips come in two sizes, so the fit is yours rather than an average.
13 grams in the ear. The left side carries the electrode, the right side the PPG sensor, and both carry a speaker. The device that does the work can also play what you fall asleep to.
It doesn’t sedate you and it doesn’t overpower you. taVNS sends micro-electrical pulses through the auricular branch of your ear, aimed at the one nerve that can stand your body down.
For most adults the perception threshold of electrical current is below 5 mA. taVNS devices operate within 0.5 to 2 mA, a range considered safe at the cellular level, and the penetration depth into tissue is shallow.
From the ear the signal carries on to the brainstem nuclei, where the body releases its own calming neurotransmitters: GABA and serotonin.
Transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation reaches the vagus nerve at the ear, where it runs close enough to the surface to be touched without surgery. It is a safe and gentle alternative, using electrical impulses through the skin, with minimal side effects.
The electrode sits on the left earbud, its contacts resting against the outer ear. You choose the intensity across 10 levels. Start low, and raise it only if you want to.
The electrode sends impulses through the skin of the ear to the auricular branch of the vagus nerve.
The signal reaches the brainstem nuclei, easing the excessive sympathetic responses behind tension.
GABA promotes sleep and induces calming effects. Serotonin facilitates sleep and helps reduce anxiety.
The left ear does the work, in silence. The right ear reads your heart while it happens, so you can see the session and not only feel it.
Positioned to meet the auricular branch of the vagus nerve in the left ear, the side where taVNS is felt as a gentle flow of energy.
Carries a PPG optical sensor that reads your heart rate. Take it out and touch the sensor: the green light means it is working.
The app keeps the record: your stimulation history, the heart rate the PPG sensor read while it ran, and the score you give the night yourself when you wake up.
Every gram, every minute, every milliamp was decided by one question: will you notice it working?
So light and discreet, you will forget you are wearing it as you drift into dreamland.
The timer ends it. Put the earbud back in the cradle and it ends there and then.
USB-C at DC 5V 1A, about 4 hours to full. The cradle carries a warm mood light.
Pair the earbuds in your phone’s Bluetooth settings first, then connect inside the app. iOS and Android both.
Non-invasive and non-pharmacological: no incision, nothing to swallow, just a gentle current through the skin.
No nightstand speaker, no headphones to keep on all night. The earbud already in your ear plays the sound too.
A reminder, not an alarm. It waits for the bedtime you set yourself, then nudges you before the night gets away from you.
It was never going to be the dramatic answer. Peer-reviewed research on transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation points to something quieter and more useful: a shift toward parasympathetic activation.
…taVNS interventions resulted in reduced stress levels, improved sleep quality, and enhanced perception of stress.
Overall, these findings demonstrate a favorable safety profile of taVNS… supporting its use as a suitable non-invasive tool in both research and clinical applications.
Participants in the repeated session protocol increased their HRV, cognitive performance, and sleep efficiency. In particular, taVNS induced higher parasympathetic activation.
The promising results underscore taVNS as a potential neuromodulatory intervention for anxiety-related conditions.
